Complementary
Michel Hilligehekken, Biltz board member: “Growth is necessary in the current market, especially given the developments in the field of sustainability and the associated energy transition of existing housing. By working together we create clout: together we are strong. In this way we can offer our customers and clients a wide range of expertise and services, both in Greater Amsterdam and Rotterdam/Rijnmond and Utrecht. In addition, the collaboration offers new opportunities and development opportunities, not only for the group, but also for our people. We can offer talents a broader platform to develop further, something that I find extremely important. ”Jan Anker, Meerbouw board member: ''The DNA and the corporate culture are what appealed to me about Biltz and its sister companies. Our core values and our visions largely correspond and there is also a good connection on a personal level. In addition, we can join forces within our specialisms: Transformation, Sustainability, Schools and Property Maintenance and also expand these specialisms geographically. ''We are not in each other's waters, which creates a fine connection in terms of disciplines, clients and geographical expansion. In addition, there is a good connection on a personal level and the colleagues from Meerbouw are a real asset to the entire team within the group.” continues Michel Hilligehekken.
About Biltz and its sister companies
Biltz and its sister companies are leaders in Greater Amsterdam in the field of sustainable renovations, maintenance of residential and non-residential buildings and installation technology. Until now, the group consisted of four companies: Biltz (founded in 2012), Mouton (joined in 2019), TBK (joined in 2021) and IJbouw (joined in 2022). Meerbouw is the fifth company to join the group, backed by investor Nordian Capital.
Eye for the future
Meerbouw remains independent and retains its own name and strength. However, the logo and house style will be converted in the coming months, so that the five sister companies form one family. The entire group will continue to develop in the field of sustainability and the development of the individual. Our people are central to this.
