Haarlem, July 2022 - Nordian Capital has acquired MYLAPS from its current shareholder HAL Investments. MYLAPS is the inventor of automated time registration and currently the global market leader.
Core to the success of MYLAPS is the development and production of accurate, durable and easy-to-use identification and timing equipment for sports events. MYLAPS is headquartered in the Netherlands and operates globally with regional sales and support offices. In collaboration with event organizers, timers and partners, MYLAPS strives to provide the ultimate sports experience for athletes, events and their followers. Every year MYLAPS technology measures the sports performance of over 20 million people around the world and transforms data into insights, progression and fun. Its products are used in events such as the Olympic Games, the Rotterdam and Boston Marathon, the Giro d'Italia, IronMan, FIA Formula E, MotoGP and INDYCAR.
Together with the management of MYLAPS, Nordian wants to give the company a new growth impulse. The focus is on the further development and global roll-out of the new product portfolio in timing, tracking and race control for all kinds of sports.
