ESG Manager

During her studies, Xenia had an international focus. With a Bachelor's in Political Science, an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Master's in International Relations & Political Science from the Graduate Institute, and several internships at NGOs and the UN in Geneva, Xenia was focused on finding solutions for international conflicts and crises. During her studies, she realized that entrepreneurs and businesses can play a significant positive and negative role in (inter)national issues and conflicts, which led her to switch to the financial side through a traineeship at ABN AMRO. She then gained five years of experience at ING’s mid-market M&A team, where she worked with entrepreneurs to find the best partner for the future of SMEs. From this role, Xenia transitioned to Nordian in 2021, and since 2023, she has been combining her interest in solving problems with her experience with companies in her role as an ESG manager. Xenia is involved with the portfolio company WWL and, in her ESG role, with ESG improvement processes for various portfolio companies. In her free time, Xenia can be found at the bouldering gym or with her horse, and she enjoys spending time in nature.
